My name is Alex. I am an illustrator and have been working as a tattoo artist for a number of years now.
I have used this site to document the apprenticeship from start to finish and now it is a constant feed of my progress as an artist. Just for shits and giggles really, a personal diary to build up and look back on. I will be photographing, videotaping and transcribing my experiences, even the mundane, and maybe learn something in the process. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the ride as much as I will.
If you feel like showing your support in my endeavor send me posts, pictures, links … I will be happy to look at it all and silently judge you. Send me pictures of your tattoos or perhaps tips for a new apprentice, some trade secrets!
