Alex, I want you to know that I have fallen in love with this piece of art like I’ve never fallen in love with a piece of art ever before. I’ve spent almost a year looking at it and telling people about it. It broke my heart to read that your shop is all the way in Vermont, when I live in Texas. I’m letting you know that I am planning to make a trip up there for this beautiful piece of art. I hope you haven’t given it to someone else yet!

Back on March 19th I got my first tattoo from you (page 6 of your blog, celtic knot), and I can’t wait for my next one. I enjoy following your blog and you’ve done some great work. Hopefully see you in 2012….

putting a bit of ointment on the bar helps, also lessening the bend in my needle bar. So far i am loving it, light and quiet. It is great for shading, used it for backing in black and color too. It also works well lining with larger liners, worked with a 9 round liner and could move really quickly with it. I recommend it from just my short time with it.

Thought of picking up one myself, just wanted to know if your still having that problem with the ink traveling up the tube? How is it as a shader?
